What it does
Process Lasso is Bitsum’s Windows process-management and automation tool. It can apply persistent process rules and includes ProBalance, designed to help responsiveness when background processes monopolize CPU time. This is a different task from adding physical memory or replacing a slow storage drive.
Measure one change
Begin with a real symptom and a repeatable workload. Note which process is busy, make one change and compare the same workload again. A priority or affinity rule can affect other applications, so keep a record of it and know how to remove it.
